HARVEY'S WALLBANGERS
An informational timeline detailing the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers season.
ROLE: ARTIST, DESIGNER
The 1982 season was the most successful one the Brewers have played in the 50-something years of their organization. Never before, and never since, has the team visited the World Series. The 1982 season was their only appearance in the series, and they very nearly won it, too. They didn’t win. This timeline highlights the path to near-success, as it would be displayed inside of the General Mitchell International Airport.
This was designed in mind for all ages- a younger demographic interested in learning, or perhaps an older demographic interested in reliving the team's glory days. Regardless, the location at the airport is perfect for killing time.
I opted for simple type in both font and content, a limited (yet appropriate) color scheme, and illustrations to appeal to a child who may be looking at it. Scale and placement were also considered when constructing the final design.
